The Stars Come Out to Help Celebrate 1st Anniversary of “Mi TRL’ – Alejandro Fernandez, RBD and Panda Perform Live from LA – Jimmy Smits, Carlos Mencia, Eddie Matos, Eva La Rue and others join the party!

is going all out to celebrate the first year anniversary of its signature show “Mi TRL,” lining up superstars Alejandro Fernandez, and Panda for live performances and taking the show on the road. Hosted by VJ Carlos Santos, “Mi TRL” will broadcast from California Plaza in Los Angeles on September 13th and 20th at 4:30 PM and will also feature some of the biggest names making their mark in including Jimmy Smits, , Eddie Matos, Kat VON D and others. Los Angeles will also be on hand to present a key to the City.

“Young Latinos across the country have made “Mi TRL’ their favorite video countdown show since we launched a year ago and want to thank our audience for their tremendous support,” said Lily Neumeyer, Vice President of Programming and Production for . “We are thrilled to broadcast from Los Angeles, the number-one Latino market, and look forward to other opportunities to bring “Mi TRL’ closer to its fans.”

Since its debut show in Times Square with Nelly Furtado and in September 2006, “Mi TRL” has offered a high-profile platform for both established and emerging artists seeking to connect with young Latinos. Among the many artists who have appeared on “Mi TRL” are , , , Beyoncé, , and Maná plus celebrities like , America Ferrara, Adam Sandler, , and more. “Mi TRL” has also welcomed young Latino artists such as Kat de Luna, Jesse & Joy, Gustavo Laureano, Down AKA Kilo, and Pacha Massive, who are all launching their music careers.

The September 13th episode of “Mi TRL” will feature live performances by Mexican heartthrob Alejandro Fernandez and Mexican rock band Panda, guest appearances by comedian , tattoo artist Kat Von D and an “El Grito” contest in honor of Mexican Independence Day.

On September 20th, “Mi TRL” welcomes Latin pop sensation and special guests Jimmy Smits and Eddie Matos from “Cane,” and Eva La Rue and Adam Rodriguez from “CSI: Miami.”

In addition to a weekly video countdown voted on by viewers, “Mi TRL” features lives performances, artists interviews and news reports on the latest from the music world. “Mi TRL” host Carlos Santos has developed a reputation for engaging artists and his audience with his quick wit and deep understanding of the music young Latinos want to listen to. Carlos was born and raised in Puerto Rico against the background of the emerging sound of reggaeton. His passion for music was developed as he listened to a wide mix of Latino and American music on and on MTV as he was growing up. When he later moved to California, he became enthralled with the Rock en Español movement and the Indie scene of Los Angeles. In addition, Carlos is a talented actor, TV host and comedian.
