“In a historic political screen test, seven Democratic presidential candidates made their pitch to millions of Hispanic viewers on a range of topics that included immigration and health care in the first presidential debate to be broadcast in Spanish.
Broadcast Sunday by the Spanish-language network Univision from the University of Miami campus, the debate revealed few distinctions among candidates’ views on immigration and Latin America policy, health care and education, and sparked limited disagreement on when the United States should withdraw troops from Iraq.”
