“Presidential hopeful Bill Richardson tried to win over Las Vegas Democrats on Saturday, mixing promises to bring change and experience to the White House with an unusual number of jokes.
The New Mexico governor and Democratic presidential candidate opened his remarks at a party meeting by thanking the Clark County Democrats for standing as he entered.
“I thought you were leaving,” he said.”
