SEIU’s Eliseo Medina to Attend Univision Debate in Miami

Available to Media Before and After Debate
As Democratic candidates for president gather for a debate focused exclusively on issues of interest to Hispanic voters, SEIU executive vice president Eliseo Medina will be available to comment on how the candidates’ positions will affect workers and their families. Medina will be in the studio audience for the September 9 debate and will be available for television, radio, and print interviews before and after the debate.

WHO: Eliseo Medina, described by the Los Angeles Times as “one of the most successful labor organizers in the country”, has served as international executive vice president of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) since 1996, when he made history by becoming the first Mexican American elected to a top post at the now 1.9 million-member SEIU.
