Latino evangelicals say GOP may have lost their support after immigration battle

But, as Mr. Green told me, swing groups like this matter immensely in these close elections we’ve been having.”
Now, Latino evangelical leaders tell McKenzie that the collapse of a bipartisan immigration bill earlier this year could come back to hurt Republican candidates in 2008 if they’re looking for support from conservative Latino Christians.”
