“The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) and BMW of North America are honored to present the first 2007 Ultimate Latina Leader Award to Nina Vaca, President and CEO of Pinnacle Technical Resources, Inc. Ms. Vaca will receive this prestigious award at the “Latina Leaders Luncheon” on September 20th during the 2007 USHCC Annual Convention, Business Expo & International Pavilion in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

“On behalf of the USHCC, our Board of Directors and the two million Hispanic businesses we represent, I congratulate and applaud the accomplishments of Nina Vaca,” said Michael L. Barrera, USHCC President and CEO. “She is a true Latina leader and role model whose commitment to the Hispanic community is inspiring.”

“BMW is proud to partner with the USHCC in recognizing the emerging significance and influence of Latina entrepreneurs. Nina Vaca is a valuable vendor and exemplifies the spirit of the Ultimate Latina Leader Award,” stated F. Marty Revel, Multicultural Initiatives Manager, BMW of North America.

The USHCC and BMW will present this prestigious award each year to a Latina role model who has broken new ground in her field of expertise. The recipient is one who shows a strong commitment to the Hispanic community and Latina-owned businesses. The award also honors the Latina businesswoman who, through her work and achievements, empowers other Latinas and the U.S. Hispanic community as a whole.

A decade ago, Vaca and a partner created Pinnacle Technical Resources, Inc., a leading provider of custom IT solutions. Today, the Dallas, Texas-based firm is expected to exceed $100 million in revenues and is one of the country’s largest woman and Hispanic-owned companies.

Nina Vaca’s honors also include being the first two-time winner of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s prestigious Hispanic Businesswoman of the Year award and her recent selection as one of the 50 Most Important Hispanics in Business & Technology by Hispanic Engineering & Technology Magazine. In 2005, Pinnacle Technical Resources Inc. was also recognized as #4 on “Dallas 100’s” Fastest Growing Companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
