Terry Fator’s ventriloquist and impressionist skills helped him claim the $1 million grand prize in the season finale of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” which topped the Hispanic TV ratings according to figures released by the Nielsen Media Group for the week of Aug. 20-26.
The Tuesday night show, which featured host Jerry Springer and celebrity judges David Hasselhoff and Sharon Osbourne, closed its second season atop the Hispanic TV ratings for English-language programs with a 3.7 mark. “
