More Hispanics choose cremation

This mirrors a rising state and national trend in the general population toward more cremations.
However, leaders with the Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce, the Islamic Center of Virginia and the Asian American Society of Central Virginia say their communities continue their tradition of not practicing cremation. But Hindus and Pakistanis embrace cremation, the leaders said.”
