Latino Fest concludes with a bang – Indianapolis
Tagged: Indiana, Indianapolis, populationPosted on: August 23rd, 2007“Indianapolis Hispanic population learned about city services while enjoying entertainment acts — topped by a fireworks display — Saturday during the Mayors Latino Fest 2007 at Garfield Park.
“The fireworks show was almost 20 minutes long,” said Ricardo Gambetta, director of Latino affairs for the city. “Everybody had a really good time.”
Between 10,000 and 12,000 participants throughout the day strolled among exhibits from more than 120 local organizations that provide resources to Latinos.”
