“Latin Television Inc. (OTCBB:SRTU) (Formerly Stratus Entertainment, Inc.) has appointed Randall Appel as its President and CEO, and Mr. Luis Baraldi as COO, to guide the Company to its goal of becoming a major Spanish language television network in the US.

Derek Jones, Chairman, stated, “I am pleased to announce that we are fortunate to have Mr. Appel as the CEO, and Mr. Baraldi as the COO, and welcome them both as new board member to guide this company into areas of uncharted growth.”

Mr. Jones continued, “Latin Television caters to the growing Hispanic population in North America. The US Census Bureau projects that Hispanics will represent approximately 18% of the total US population by 2020 versus 13% in 2000, confirming a fundamental shift in the ethnic makeup of the US. We intend to capitalize on this changing demographic, and with Mr. Appel and Mr. Baraldi at the helm, we believe that our future will be a bright one.”

About Latin Television Inc.

Latin Television Inc. recently purchased all of the assets, including the name, of a company formerly operating in the Hispanic broadcast market, which changed its model to a sports publishing operation.

Latin Television Inc. plans to build a following among young Hispanic adults in the US by offering a variety of Spanish-language entertainment programs, movies, sports and news.

The Company plans to expand its existing Cable TV network in the US and Mexico through cost-effective Lease Marketing/Management Agreements (LMAs) and the acquisition of Lower Power TV stations. The LMAs offer an efficient and cost-effective vehicle for reaching large segments of the Hispanic audience. Latin Television plans to focus initially on penetrating first-tier markets in major US cities having large Hispanic populations.

About Mr. Appel

Mr. Appel has been involved in the Spanish broadcast arena for the past 8 years as an officer and director of Latin Television Inc. (now THE League Publishing). In addition, he has over 18 years of financial planning and broker dealer experience.

Mr. Appel specializes in the structuring of private investments to provide mezzanine level financing to companies which have been identified as having dominating potential in niche markets, and which are likely candidates for acquisition, merger or initial public offering within a two to five year time frame.

Mr. Appel stated, “I am truly excited with the recent developments of this transaction which will finally give the Company the necessary financial strength to capitalize and to realize its full potential in this explosive developing market segment of the younger Hispanic marketplace.

“Latin Television Inc. now has the opportunity to capture and develop an audience which will appreciate new thinking, and respectful, exciting presentation of programming that will actually serve a younger growing demographic whose taste in entertainment goes far beyond the traditional novella and well worn novella.”
