The lone San Antonio newspaper dropped conservative cartoonist Leo Garza, a fixture at the paper for over 20 years. Liberal cartoonist John Branch remains on staff.
Nacho Guarache was the little guy with a bristly moustache who always had something to say. And being conservative, says readers, made him an important voice. The fact that, like his creator, Nacho was Hispanic — made him rare.”
