“Florida Weddings and Special Events, Inc. the parent company of Florida Weddings and Special Events Magazine has earned it’s rank on the Web. The main corporation and web portal were founded in 2002, launching the bilingual bridal and quince print version in 2006. The print magazine is fully uploaded to the World Wide Web, and therefore can now be called a full regional Florida wedding and quince publication; extending and maximizing their readership to include everyone surfing the Internet.

Their main portal, www.FloridaWeddingsandSpecialEvents.com, is easily found when you search the Internet as one of the main and most visible quinceañera and bridal web sites of Florida.

The officers of the company are Isabel and Carlos Albuerne. Isabel is better known as the “The Event Lady” and has been in the wedding and quince industry as a coordinator for over 20 years. With a focus now in publishing, this Hispanic origin couple is the pioneer publisher in SW Florida, with the first bilingual bridal and quince publication in their area.

This English and Spanish format, full color, glossy, consumer size publication has found a niche in the special event industry, focusing and addressing the needs of planning a wedding reception or a sweet fifteen/sixteen party in the diverse cultural market of the State of Florida.

As a new publication they offer a circulation of 40,000 a year and distribute at over 300 key locations in Collier, Lee and Charlotte Counties. These locations include a weekly complimentary distribution system at all the local Blockbuster Video Stores in the above mentioned Florida counties. These distribution points are specifically targeted to the special event industry. The magazine is handed out complimentary as well at bridal and quince shows in the SW Florida area. The goal of the publisher is to extend further into SW Florida and reach 100,000 by the end of 2008.

Subscription is also available thru their web site to receive the magazine by US Postal Mail for out-of-state quince girls or Florida destination brides. This magazine offers quince and bridal related news and trends at a local level; but now, thanks to the magnitude of the Internet, it can reach all of Florida on a regional level as well.
