Visalia Fire Chief George Sandoval surprises with plans to retire – California
Tagged: California, FresnoPosted on: August 22nd, 2007“Visalia Fire Chief George Sandoval suddenly announced his retirement this week, capping a 33-year career at the Visalia Fire Department.
Sandoval, 54, has served as fire chief since 2001. His last day will be Aug. 31.
“Ive been blessed,” Sandoval told the Visalia City Council this week. “Its been a rewarding experience.”"
