Equity Media Announces Strategic Affiliation with MTV Tr3s in New York

“Equity Media Holdings Corporation Nasdaq: EMDA, one of the largest owners and operators of television stations in the United States, announced today that it will launch an MTV Tr3s affiliate on its newly-acquired New York station, WMBQ. MTV, a division of Viacom Inc. NYSE: VIA has extended its reach to millions of Hispanic consumers through MTV Tr3s. The new affiliate will be available over-the-air on channel 46 beginning in October.
