Family, Friends Of Murdered Bodega Owner (Bolivar Cruz) Gather For March in Queens, New York

“Community members and activists gathered in Queens Saturday to demand action in the investigation of a bodega owners murder.

The family of the late Bolivar Cruz were joined by the Guardian Angels, Hispanics Across Americas, community members and religious leaders for a march and vigil.

Cruz – a father of seven daughters – was gunned down at his store in June. Now the community is calling on police to step up the investigation, and are raising funds for their own reward for information leading to an arrest. “
