BocaFloja puts a rap on the Latino music scene

He’s part of a network of socially conscious rappers in Latin America and the United States who are adding another layer to the urban music that is rapidly gaining a foothold among young Latinos.
“I’ve been influenced by American soul and R&B, but especially the hip-hop of the late 80s and early 90s,” said BocaFloja in a phone interview. “I used to listen to A Tribe Called Quest, The Pharcyde and Wu Tang Clan.”
