“A Southwest Florida Spanish-language television and radio station are partnering with the Peruvian consulate to collect canned foods, clothing and medicine for the victims of this weeks earthquake.

More than 500 people have been reported killed in the 8.0- magnitude earthquake that nearly destroyed Pisco, a city south of Lima.
