In addition, the games will continue to be carried on local Spanish language radio station KDTD-AM La Gran D 1340, which is providing the Spanish-speaking announcers for the TV broadcasts.
“This historic initiative sends out a strong, positive message to Spanish-speaking fans of the Kansas City Wizards and Major League Soccer,” says Wizards Director of Latino Relations Leobardo Prieto. “We are fortunate to have great, supportive partners such as Time Warner Cables Metro Sports and La Gran D that recognize the importance of bringing entertainment to the Hispanic community of Kansas City. We are not only setting the trend in Major League Soccer, but setting the standard for the league with all of our new Spanish-language programming for all of our fans.”"
