“Its not unheard of for students from 18 different nationalities to be sitting in a single classroom in Spain.

Immigrants from Africa, South America and western Europe are all converging on the European nation and are beginning to challenge the educational system there just as Hispanic immigrants challenge Americas schools.

That common thread is the starting point for a Spanish Teacher Exchange Program in Kankakee School District 111 through the Spanish Ministry of Education.”
