Latino population in Weld grows 30 percent since 2000 - Colorado

“Weld County’s Latino population continues to grow at a steady rate, though not as quickly as it did in the early 2000s, according to U.S. Census figures released today.

Census figures reveal that Welds population of Latinos grew 3.8 percent from 2005 to 2006, the latest figures available from the federal government. That is significantly less than the 6.8 percent of Latino population growth from 2001 to 2002.”
