“What started as a way to give young dancers a cool place to rehearse has resulted in the revival of what is arguably Tucsons best original, locally produced music and dance show: Viva Arizona

Viva Arizona is a thoroughly entertaining showcase that highlights the cultural history of Tucsons Latino population from before the arrival of the Spanish to modern times. A multimedia production weaving historical photos, concise snippets of narration and tons of live music and dance, the show takes in everything from traditional Mexican folklórico dance to hoe-downs, cancans and Big Band era moves and an assortment of lively choreography illustrating rock and pop music from the 50s to modern hip-hop.”
