Latina Leaders Unite in Dallas for CATALINA Magazine’s Dallas “Essence of Latinas’ National Tour Stop

“ABC Senior Reporter Rebecca Lopez, Author Elizabeth Ramos, Dallas immigration lawyer and author Margaret Donnelly, and CATALINA Publisher Cathy Areu will serve as VIP hostesses at CATALINA magazine’s annual “Essence of Latinas” Dallas national tour stop.

The third stop on the national tour will be held on Monday, July 30, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Bliss Spa at the posh W Hotel. The tour’s title sponsors include: Volvo Cars of North America, Deloitte, Eden Foods and Southwest Airlines.

Dallas’ Latina leaders will be treated to an evening of mingling, networking, and inspiration. The women will receive complimentary spa treatments, nibble on spa cuisine and listen to “words of wisdom” from the special VIP hostesses. During the event program, they will answer the question: “What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?”
The following are a few words of wisdom to be shared:

The Essence of Latinas tour has been catering to “the mind, body, and soul of today’s Latina” since 2002. In 2004, the “Essence of Latinas” tour joined the White House’s Heart Truth Campaign ””a national campaign for women about heart disease sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. Latina-focused heart health information and bi-lingual resources will be provided in Dallas, and at each stop of the tour.
