“A Bronx program designed to train minority doctors to help the underserved still may be resuscitated despite losing its federal funding last year.

The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to give $28 million to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Hispanic Center of Excellence.

The funding measure still has a ways to go through the legislative process, however.”
