“On July 18, 2007 after 8 hours of counting more than 4500 ballots, The Centro Asturiano de Tampa announced the winners of the Media Idolo Awards. The results of this election were based on the number of votes cast by fax, online, email and postal mail in 18 different categories. This contest was made to draw more attendance to the monthly networking and speaker series lunches. Cento Asturiano de Tampa is a 501(c)3 non-for-profit organization dedicated to its historical roots and building and to entertaining its social club members and helping the community at large.
The team of 7DIAS (SIETEDIAS) Newspaper was the big winner with 8 awards (of a total of 18) in the following categories:
