Three charged in Mexican-style kidnapping ring in Houston

“Three men have been charged in a suspected kidnapping operation in Houston that officials said was similar to the so-called “express kidnappings” that plague Mexican cities.

Houston police said Wednesday that the men abducted unsuspecting victims and then held them hostage until their relatives paid about $2,000 €1,455 for their safe release.”
