“In the wake of the fourth landing of Cubans on Sanibel Island in the past 18 months on Sunday night, several local media outlets – including NBC 2, Fox 4 and WINK radio – have referred to the waves of humanity rolling up on Southwest Florida’s shores as “illegal immigrants,” while several others – including The Naples Daily News and The News-Press – have referred to them as “migrants.”

But that doesn’t tell the whole story.
