BAC Florida Bank Appoints Joaquin Arguello As New Senior Vice President To Lead Bank’s Domestic Banking Division

“BAC Florida Bank, one of the leading Florida banks in providing mortgage loans to foreign nationals and and investment services for international clients, primarily from , announced the appointment of Joaquin Arguello to the post of senior vice president in charge of the bank’s Domestic Division.

Arguello brings more than 17 years of experience in the retail arena to his position. In his new role, he is charged with launching the bank’s Domestic Division throughout key targeted communities and clients in South Florida.

Prior to joining BAC Florida Bank, Arguello held positions with such institutions as BankUnited, where he was senior vice president and market manager in charge of 21 branches in Broward County, Collier County and seven branches located in the South Dade area. Prior to that, Arguello was vice president of Barnett Bank, now Bank of America.

A native of Managua, , Mr. Arguello brings a keen understanding of the cultural nuances of BAC’s core Latin American clientele base.

A graduate of the University of New Orleans in Louisiana, Arguello holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. He is a board member of Chamber South and is a member of both the Nicaraguan Chamber of Commerce and Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. Arguello has also served as a director of the Weston Area Chamber of Commerce.
