Cuauhtemoc Blanco, the Mexican playmaker American soccer fans love to hate, made his debut for the Chicago Fire on Sunday and it barely registered a ripple on the national media radar. This despite the fact that his debut went much better than Beckhams. Blanco started and scored the Fires lone goal in a 1-1 tie against Celtic. He flashed his skills and gave the fans in Chicago a real taste of what could he could be providing on a regular basis.”
