“The memory of last years immigrant solidarity marches in North Texas is still fresh in the minds of many Latinos well into this year.
In Fort Worth, City Council member Salvador Espino is trying to energize local Hispanics and build on the momentum from last years peaceful march in that city, which drew about 20,000 people.
Working with Rosa Navejar, president of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Espino has begun organizing a Latino Leadership Breakfast to bring together all Hispanic elected officials in Tarrant County.”
