OCP Composers Highlight Fifth Annual Hispanic Pastoral Musicians Conference
Posted on: July 19th, 2007“OCP composers Eleazar Cortés, Jaime Cortez, Santiago Fernández, Stella Garcí-López, Bob Hurd, Pedro Rubalcava and Rufino Zaragoza will travel to Albuquerque, N.M., for the fifth annual Hispanic Pastoral Musicians Conference. The conference takes place July 26-29 at the Wyndham Albuquerque Hotel.
Pedro Rubalcava, an accomplished composer and the current director of Hispanic ministry for OCP, will serve as one of four speakers in the first keynote address of the conference at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 26. Titled “Creyentes – Believers,” the presentation will be given in Spanish with simultaneous English translation.”
