“On Aug. 4, singer Lupillo Rivera and sultry songstress Ana Barbara will take the stage as the first Latin music performers to headline at the State Fair.

Local Spanish-language radio station WDDW-FM (104.7) will broadcast from the fairgrounds all 11 days of this year’s event.

And in the months and weeks leading up to the fair, Wisconsin’s Hispanic community has been encouraged - in its own language - to attend: on billboards, on the fair park’s Web site, even on the backs of beer and soft-drink delivery trucks.”
