“Littleton created its mentoring program with grant money given to nine communities in the first phase of an 11-year, $18.2 million immigration integration effort launched by The Colorado Trust, an independent foundation established in 1985 with a $191 million endowment from the sale of PSI Healthcare Corporation.

The Supporting Immigrant and Refugee Families Initiative began in 2000 with grants to nonprofit organizations that helped immigrants and refugees with mental health and cultural adjustment services.”
