Although the LAMC gets it right in not forcing conference participants to choose between simultaneous events, there was one regrettable overlap. It almost killed me to choose between catching one of Puerto Rico’s most exciting exports, synth-Brit-pop rockers Circo made up by members of the former, excellent Cure-esque band with a great name Manjar de Los Dioses or Feast of the Gods and witnessing a predominantly electronic duo like Pacha Massive leave the loops and Mac at home and strip down to the bone during the LAMC acoustic showcase.”
