Henry Cisneros being recognized for improving quality of life for Mexican Americans

“Longtime San Antonio civic leader Henry Cisneros will be honored Saturday with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Worldwide Association of Mexicans Abroad.

For the last five years, the nonprofit national organization has been organizing annual bi-national conventions for Mexican and Mexican-American organizations and businesses. The goal is to establish networks with individuals in the nonprofit, business and political world to improve the quality of life for Hispanic communities in the United States.”
