“The Pacific Northwest’s first Spanish-language newscast launches today on KUNS-TV 51, the local Univision station. “Noticias Noroeste” will feature local, regional, national and international news in half-hour newscasts airing at 6 and 11 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Jaime Méndez, who hosts a morning radio program on Radio Sol 1360AM and is already a familiar voice to the areas Spanish-speaking community, will be the newscasts anchor/reporter in Seattle. And Roxy De La Torre will be the Portland anchor/reporter.”
