“From migrant farmworker to an obstetrician-gynecologist — most would call Dr. René Charles an accomplished man.

But dont call Charles a success story. He doesnt think of himself that way.

“I think of myself as a fortunate person — not as a success,” he said.

Charles, 56, has a private practice in Dinuba. He also is the director of Central Valley Healths Dinuba site. Health is a network of 15 rural health clinics owned by Central Valley General Hospital in Hanford, which is part of Adventist Health.”
