“Actor Richard Azurdia co-stars alongside Spanish film and television stars Saul Lisazo, Miguel Varoni, Gabriel Soto, and Fernando Colunga. The film is scheduled to be released by Lionsgate in theaters August 31, 2007.

“Ladron Que Roba A Ladron” is a heist/caper movie in the tradition of “Oceans Eleven,” but pulled off by a group of immigrant workers who team up to rob an evil, wealthy entrepreneur. The result is a motley crew of underdogs, undertaking an impossible task, at impossible odds.

Actor Richard Azurdia co-stars alongside Spanish film and television stars Saul Lisazo, Miguel Varoni, Gabriel Soto, and Fernando Colunga. The film boasts one of the biggest casts ever for a Spanish-language movie and toplines some of the biggest Latino stars around. Azurdia plays the role of the menacing but pathetic “Primitivo”, private accountant to Moctezuma Valdez Saul Lizaso. The Jim McNamara/Ben ODell project was written by Jojo Henrickson and directed by Joe Menendez. The film is scheduled to be released by Lionsgate in theaters August 31, 2007.

Richard Azurdia is a Los Angeles native whose inherent ability to portray a wide range of characters has led to his involvement in TV, independent films and over 40 theater productions. In film, Azurdia is most recognized for his lead role in the award winning comedy “America 101″ now available on DVD. Azurdia’s other film and TV credits include roles in the award winning films “The Disappeared”, “Blackberries” and “Hunting of Man”, TNT’s “Wanted”, NBC’s mini-series “Kingpin” and “General Hospital”. Azurdia’s upcoming films include “Legend of Baja”, “North by El Norte” and the sci-fi thriller “GB 2525”.
