Tagged: children, family, latin america, New York, VenezuelaPosted on: June 27th, 2007“As a world-class flutist with Venezuelan roots, Marco Granados has always felt the pull of Latin American music. Hes also seen the powerful effect that Latin music has on audiences of all ages – which makes it uniquely suited to the family music festival premiering Saturday at Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts.
The Caramoor Cavalcade – an all-afternoon program featuring strolling musicians, six concerts and free guided tours of the arts centers House Museum – will include two childrens performances of Latin American music, each aimed at a different age group.
The concerts will be presented as part of Sonidos Latinos, Caramoors inaugural Latin American music initiative.”
