“Tennessees Republican Sens. Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker and Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Miss., were on the short end of a 64-35 vote this afternoon to proceed with a major overhaul of the immigration laws. Sen. Trent Lott, R-Miss., and both Arkansas Democratic Sens. Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor voted with the majority.”
