“Leaders within D.C.s latino community say the city needs more police officers who speak Spanish. “The police department should get more police officers that speak Spanish to make sure that there is compliance with the Language Access Act and to build more trust within the community,” said Saul Solarzano, of the Central American Resource Center.”
