University of St. Thomas receives $4.5 million gift – Houston
Tagged: Houston, student, TexasPosted on: June 24th, 2007“The University of St. Thomas has received a $4.5 million gift from former Fiesta Mart Inc. owner Trini Mendenhall Sosa. It is the universitys largest ever gift from an individual donor.
The money will fund the Mendenhall Achievement Center which will provide advisory, counseling and tutoring services for the Houston universitys 3,000 campus-based students.”
