“The Hispanic population continues to break records, rising for the eighth straight year to 14.8% of the overall U.S. population, up from 11.2% in 1998, according to Arbitrons just released annual study, “Hispanic Radio Today.” The number of stations programming to Hispanic audiences grew 4% between Spring 2005 and 2006, from 701 to 730 — up 24% since Spring, 2002 and a new record.”
