“Leftist activists and teachers set up a protest camp in the picturesque colonial plaza of Oaxaca City on Monday, eight months after federal police dislodged protesters from the square.
Chanting slogans demanding the release of their imprisoned leaders and the resignation of Oaxaca Gov. Ulises Ruiz, about 1,500 demonstrators marched to the arch-ringed main plaza and began erecting tents.”
