Latino Advocates Seek $25M For Preschool Programs – Illinois

An analysis by the group reveals a shortage of early education programs in communities with large Latino populations. They say only about 36 percent of Latino children in Illinois are enrolled in preschool, well below the state average of 52.5 percent.”
