“Henry Cisneros, who served as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development HUD during the Clinton Administration, has been inducted into the National Housing Hall of Fame.

Cisneros became the first Hispanic-American to head a major U.S. city government when he served as the mayor of San Antonio from 1981 to 1989. He served as HUD Secretary from 1993 to 1997.”
