Esperanza to Release Today Results of Hispanic Immigrant Homeownership Study

Tagged: ,

“Esperanza announced today they will be releasing the results of its most recent study about Hispanic housing in the United States: “Promoting and Maintaining Household Ownership among Latino Immigrants.” The research produced by Esperanza, one of the largest faith-based Hispanic organizations committed to strengthening the Latino community, and by The University of Notre Dame’s Institute for Latino Studies, will be presented tonight during the State of Hispanic Housing Dinner. This is one of the events surrounding the 2007 National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast and Conference, taking place June 13-15th in J.W. Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C., where hundreds of Hispanic clergy and community leaders, as well as political officials are expected to attend.

This study will be the third in a ten year study series that will provide insight on the trends and issues facing Hispanic homeowners in the United States. This year’s research is said to bring light to new guidelines and programs that will benefit Latino immigrants in their pursuit of becoming homeowners. The research will also addresses the problems facing undocumented immigrants looking to own a home.

To request a copy of the entire study, contact Marisol Martinez at press@esperanza.us or 215-324-0746, extension 205.
