“President Bush has told Republicans in the U.S. Senate that his immigration reform bill is the best way to enforce American borders.

Mr. Bush met with the senators in Washington Tuesday, to try to resurrect a compromise immigration bill that his administration agreed on with a bipartisan group of senators.”
