“The Galicia family, similar to many residents, visits public libraries where shelves across Southwest Florida are swelling with books, DVDs and other materials catering to the changing demographics.

“It’s obvious that you have to learn English, but you also cannot forget your language,” Galicia, 34, said in Spanish.”
