The new collection includes sheet sets, bedding sets, bath towels, decorative towels and table linens.

Prior to the autograph signing session, Cristina was welcomed to Kohl’s by Mai Zazueta, District Vice President of Kohl’s, who presided over a presentation and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The ceremony began as the Mayor of Buena Park, Patsy Marshall, presented Cristina with the Key to the City of Buena Park as well as declaring June 10 as “Cristina Day” in Buena Park. City Clerk Shalice Reynoso also attended the event.

In addition, Cristina and Jon Palmatier, District Vice President of Kohl’s presented a check for $10,000 to benefit The Dream Center, a organization based in Southern California, whose mission is to transform the lives of those facing homelessness, poverty or hopelessness. The Dream Center offers opportunities and resources for at-risk youth, low income individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency by providing assistance in the areas of substance abuse, education, job training, food, clothing, after-school programs and health care.

The donation was made by possible by the Kohl’s A-Team program, which encourages associates to volunteer their time to a youth-serving organization. Each team of five or more Kohl’s associates that volunteer a minimum of three hours receives a corporate grant of $500 from Kohl’s, which is donated to the organization. In 2006, approximately 16,000 Kohl’s associates volunteered more than 57,000 hours, which helped Kohl’s donate more than 1.2 million dollars to youth organizations.”
