“Anna Villarreals office at Evergreen Branch Library is still bare, with empty files, an unplugged microwave and a small fridge.
But in a week, the office will welcome high schools students and their parents.
The office, in the heart of Wichitas north-side neighborhood, is part of Butler Community Colleges plan to attract more Hispanic students. About 450 Hispanic students graduated from Sedgwick County high schools this year.”
